Chicago Street Love

There's a really adorable trend going on in my neck of the woods lately: graffiti hearts! I first spotted the construction heart a few weeks ago and they keep popping up all over the place now. I have to admit, the hopeless romantic in me adores this trend and hope it continues...nothing better than knowing someone out there is in love and wants to scream it from the mountain tops, but doesn't have a mountain top, they have a graffiti marker.

Who Works the Top Bun Better?

Joakim
or J. Lo?
I gotta give this one to my boy Noah. So yeah, I'm definitely a Bulls fan, but Joakim werrks the bun. He keeps that thing high and tight, all while playing some serious ball. J. Lo, sorry honey, but the most vigorous movement you're making all night is sticking a hip out to pose. And let's be serious, there's probably a stylist on hand in the background, manned with hairspray and bobby pins.
So props to Joakim. Keeping the NBA fashionable, one top bun at a time.

The Juice...according to Jackie - 2012 Academy Awards

Hot Damn!

"Angie's Leg"
Because, really, that's all that mattered.

Berenice Bero
I died over the delicate detailing on the sleeves of this beautiful Elie Saab gown. Some say she looked matronly, but I strongly disagree. She bedazzled in all the right ways. And plus, when you're sleeping with the director, who cares anyway?

Cameron "Feathers" Diaz
This color on Cammie (yeah, Cammie...that's what I'd call her if we were friends, deal with it) is absolutely STUNNING. I normally dislike nude, but on a literally perfect body, it's breathtaking. And the feathering on the bottom and train give it the fun kick that Cameron needs.

Battle of the Cougars: Glenn Close vs. Meryl Streep

It's a close one!
I don't really know who to give it to...
I wanted to rip that jacket right off of Glenn to have for my own! Just absolutely exquisite structure...and was anybody else surprised it was a forrest green color? Happy surprise for me.
Meryl is a vision in gold, rocking it better than anyone else that night. (I'm talking to you, Stacy Keibler).

J.Lo's SEX IS ON FIRE

I don't know which look I loved better. I'm just glad both showed AMAZING boob.

Jessica Chastain
I prayed before the show began that someone, anyone, would take a risk. That's all I wanted. One person. And Jessica Chastain did. And she NAILED it. This dress is jaw-dropping, especially paired against her fair skin and ginger locks.

Kate Bosworth
She wasn't even at the show but stole the scene at the after party at Vanity Fair. In my opinion, no one can look bad in Prabal Gurung, but Kate Bosworth also rarely looks bad as well. I covet this dress. I know you're probably thinking, but Juice, Zoe Saldana's dress is kind of similar and you hated it...to which I'll reply NO. No it is not. Full length sheer on Zoe's took it to another level. A shitty one.

Kate Mara
I believe I tweeted that it's hard for me to look at Kate Mara outside of American Horror Story. I'm just waiting for her to get all sociopath-ghost-murder-victim on people and start stealing babies.
Nevertheless, this gown was BEAUTIFUL. I'm not sure that she could really move her right arm much with that low slung sleeve, but we all have to make sacrifices for fashion, no?

Michelle Williams
Red, errr, Coral Hot! I'm gonna go on record and say that this woman can do no wrong. I know this will bite me in the ass in the future, but...I'll stick with it for now. Flawlessly adorable.

Milla Jovovich
Milla made the biggest mistake in Hollywood:  she walked the red carpet FIRST. Here's why it's a mistake: she had, far and away, the best gown of the night. But all those crazy E! style gurus and super-crazy Robin Roberts and Tim Gunn forgot about her by mid-night! It's called "fashionably late" for a reason, sweetie. But fear not, The Juice did not forget. Milla is straight killing it.
She just needs to tip the limo driver an extra $50 next time to drive around the block a few more times.

Octavia Spencer
You're probably expecting me to say something like: "She looks so good for a woman her size." "Those curves are just working for her." "Way to dress for your body-type. Curvy."
Just because the woman doesn't look like a bobble-head stick figure, it automatically makes her "curvy" by Hollywood's standards. I'm going to say Octavia has a fantastic normal, regular, fit-looking body and she dressed for the occasion tonight. She rocked the color/style of the night: white light sequins.
Kudos!

Rooney Mara
So yes, some say her boobs looked like eyelids awakening...but I loved it. I'm not going to have a complete orgasm over the fact that she wore white over black (her signature color, or non-color, have you) like Kelly Osbourne did, but I will say that I thought she looked really fantastic. The sharp bang and red lip were edgy but still classy for the occasion. Hipster-tastic.

Don't Hate Me Because I Love it: Shailene Woodley
Yeah, so she kind of looks like she belongs in the 70s, but this was an amazingly risky dress and it just totally works on her. Keep in mind, Shailene is only 18 yrs old...I don't want to see her in the Versace J.Lo is wearing, ok? This is perfect. It's vintage with a youth appeal.

Diddy

I can't comment on Diddy without giving props to his assistant who brushed lint off of him for a proper 30 minutes before he walked the red carpet. Swag.

Giuliana Rancic
I never include the reporter talent on the Juice, but I had to make an exception here. Giuliana is gorgeous in this wonderfully detailed Tony Ward gown. And G deserves a round of applause for finally ditching that orange-Snooki-tan. Maybe that's why I'm obsessing over her so much right now. Normal skin color...so few and far between nowadays...*sigh*

Pharrell
Mmmm. The man knows how to wear a suit. And I'm totally feeling this velvet bowtie trend happening now. Obsessed.
